Modern Slavery Policy

Terms & Conditions Pages

At Digital Beehive we are committed to operating responsibly and implementing high ethical standards throughout our business. Slavery and human trafficking are serious humanitarian crimes and we have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery and human trafficking activities and have taken and continue to take the necessary steps to ensure that these do not occur within our business or supply chain.

This statement is made in relation to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the actions that Digital Beehive has taken and continues to take to eradicate such activities. At the point of the publication of this statement, Digital Beehive had a turnover of less than the amount specified in the regulations issued by the Secretary of State to require a Modern Slavery Policy. However, as a business, we feel that the creation of a Modern Slavery Policy demonstrates our commitment to acknowledging modern slavery risks and our commitment to ensuring that there is no modern slavery within our business or supply chain.

Our Team

Our approach to employment and the way in which we treat our team members are managed consistently through the policies and procedures we have implemented across our business. These have been revised and modified in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

All team members at Digital Beehive are issued with policy, procedure and guidance documents at the point of commencement of employment. Each team member is expected to be familiar with guidance and conform to policies and procedures and any amendments made throughout their contract of employment.

One of these documents is Digital Beehive’s Code of Conduct. Outlined within our code of conduct, are standards that we expect from our team members and these are to be reflected in the way in which we operate as a business. Our code of conduct reflects our stance on modern slavery and outlines the process of how team members can raise concerns should they become aware of any ethical or moral issues within our business. Additionally, we have developed guidance for our team members that provides information on the different forms of exploitation and how to seek help and support should they be subjected or exposed to these types of activities.

Our Supply Chain

Whilst Digital Beehive is based in the United Kingdom and exclusively operates from the United Kingdom, we recognise our obligations to ensure that our supply chain complies with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Currently, we use national and international suppliers to deliver goods and services across our business. To ensure that our existing and new suppliers are compliant with our standards and are endeavouring to prevent slavery and human trafficking, all suppliers are subjected to an annual supplier’s questionnaire that evaluates their compliance towards preventing these humanitarian crimes. In addition to this, all team members are subjected to annual training which enables them to identify whether new suppliers are compliant.

Compliance

To ensure that our policies are conformed to, we have a number of strategies implemented to demonstrate their effectiveness these include audits conducted by our Business Management Systems

System

This policy of statement is evaluated on an annual basis to ensure that the business continues to comply with any relevant legislation and to identify aspects that require further improvement.
