Nick Ives has been leading Digital Beehive as Managing Director since 24th September 2021 and brings over 22 years of experience in the construction and infrastructure sector, with a career built on delivering real-world projects and a deep understanding of NEC contracts and project management.

He began his career as a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager, gaining valuable frontline experience before progressing into senior leadership roles. His journey to Director level has been shaped by a practical understanding of how projects are delivered—from cost control to contract administration—and how technology can support better outcomes.

During his time at Turner & Townsend, Nick served as an NEC Project Manager, leading the successful delivery of complex capital programmes. His work focused heavily on NEC-based procurement and governance, positioning him as a specialist in the application of NEC contracts across a wide range of project types and client environments.

With a clear grasp of both the technical and commercial realities faced by project teams, Nick plays a central role in shaping software that simplifies contract management while ensuring compliance and control.
